I enjoyed the book a lot and look forward to the next book in the series. Nor do her incessant potty jokes which I still can’t see someone like Vayle tolerating. Throughout most of the book he was just too preoccupied with preparing to change a woman that he was noticeably absent. I think there was a set up for the next story with Cole and Kyphas from Cassandra’s vision.

The job should have been just another notch in their belts, but when Cassandra’s Demon comes out to play things get a little hairy as she is one heck of a force to be reckoned with.

I was so happy to see Cassandra and Bergman again that it was like welcoming old friends back for a visit. David, with whom she has probably not spoken 25 words jennifre killing his wife a year-and-a-half ago after she was turned when a job went horribly awry and most of Jaz’ team of Helsingers was killed.

I’m a paranormal romance fan – and while this isn’t what I’d consider a romance-laden series, it’s still satisfying the romance lover in me. I’m already lamenti This one started off with a bit of a rocky start jennfer spoiler [wasn’t a big fan of the constant past-view hide spoiler ]but ended up still being a pretty fantastic book in the end. On top of this Jaz makes some pretty emotional discoveries. Their current mission is a little different as they are teaming up with another team to take down one heck of a whopper necromancer called the Wizard.
